What is Reiki?
Reiki (Ray-key) is a Japanese healing technique that uses universal (or source) energy. Reiki is a gentle, noninvasive healing system that yields powerful results for the body, mind and spirit.
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. This is the Universal Life Force Energy that flows in and around all living things.
It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When energy flows smoothly, the body will be in balance. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance. This could lead to becoming sick more often.
Reiki energy has several basic effects: reduces stress, stimulates the immune system, aids in detoxifying the system, removes energy blockages, increases energy by raising and balancing the vibrational frequency, assists in relieving some pain and symptoms of health conditions. It promotes well-being on a physical, emotional and spiritual level, recognizing the body's ability to heal itself.
The first thing most people experience is a deep relaxation. Some even fall asleep during the session. Being in this relaxed state, allows the bodies' energy to move freely. This opens the body's innate healing abilities.
Reiki is very relaxing and can bring feelings of being centered and at peace. This makes it a particularly useful treatment for those people who are experiencing difficult times in their lives. When a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health, it enables them to cope with their challenges better.
It is a gentle holistic form of healing based on activating the natural healing processes of your body to restore physical and emotional well-being.
People use Reiki for relaxation, stress reduction, and symptom relief, in efforts to improve overall health and well-being.
Reiki has been used by people with cancer, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, fatigue, diabetes, auto-immune and other health conditions.
Energy healing can help you to heal in many ways, to live with confidence, balance, joy and peace. It is about balance and harmony in the whole self: Emotional, Mental, Physical, Social, Environmental, and Spiritual.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
- Sessions are paid for in advance or before starting at the time of service.
- If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge for appointments not canceled within this period. Prepayment may be required for all future sessions (at the regular session rate) if you do not show up for an appointment or do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
NOTE: Cancellations within the proper time period will only be honored if you receive confirmation of the request.
- If a session package has been purchased the cancellation policy remains in effect. A session is deducted from session packages if a 24 hour cancellation is not provided unless other arrangements have been made.
- Late Arrivals –
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened. Regardless of the actual length of time of your session, you will be responsible for
paying the full amount of the time frame for appointment scheduled.
